The CCNA
certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate) indicates a foundation
in and apprentice knowledge of networking. CCNA certified professionals
can install, configure, and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services
for small networks (100 nodes or fewer), including but not limited to
use of these protocols: IP, IGRP, Serial, Frame Relay, IP RIP, VLANs,
RIP, Ethernet, Access Lists. |

Objectives :
|

The CCNA exam (640-802) is
the qualifying exam available to candidates pursuing a single-exam
option for the Cisco Certified Network Associate CCNA certification. The
CCNA exam will test materials from the new Interconnection to Cisco
Network Devices Part1 (ICND1) course as well as the new Interconnecting to Cisco Networking Devices Part2
(ICND2) course. The exam will certify that the successful candidate has
important knowledge and skills necessary to select, connect, configure,
and troubleshoot the various Cisco networking devices. The exam covers
topics on Extending Switched Networks with VLANS, Determining IP Routes,
Managing IP traffic with Access Lists, Establishing Point-to-Point
connections, and Establishing Frame Relay Connections.
Candidates can also take both of the following exams in order to achieve the CCNA Certification:
§ 640-822 ICND1
§ 640-816 ICND2
